Insurgence was set up in 2007 by three lads with a craving for the harder side of the dance scene.

Since then they have all departed and moved on to different things.

Kipster is already making a mark for himself in the world of production, with tracks signed to major labels and a live PA coming to a place near you soon.

Andy Simpson is now the main promoter with Ricky Moore working closely alongside, keeping the dream alive and giving Brighton what its been wanting, great DJ’s playing great music.

Originating in Tunbridge Wells and now in Brighton things are looking good for Insurgence, with a following that grows at every party

It all started in Polskie Lane in sleepy Tunbridge Wells, we then moved to The Pressure Point to make our Brighton debut.

Since then, we've thrown parties at The Volks Club, and are now at home at Micro, part of the infamous Digital nightclub. Holding a bi-monthly hard dance mashup with some of the biggest names hard dance has to offer, plus some of the the top up n coming stars of the future.

We have also been lucky enough to have had Tonk & Therapy co hosting with us.

Special guests have included Pickup & Rise, Cally Gage, Technikal, Hoopz, Iain Cross, Tom Basquil amongst others, and we were even lucky enough to have had Elvis on the team helping with promotion and as resident on rotation!

Our new venue Micro is an amazing little venue, perfect for the Insurgence crowd, we are sure you will love it as much as we do!

This coming March is the 3rd Birthday for Insurgence, and we have one hell of a party planned to celebrate!
